locale was founded in 2015 as a real estate consulting firm with the goal of providing advisory services to individuals and families interested in investing in real estate.

We saw the need for such a company when we realized the lack of centralized, quality information about real estate subjects that is tailored to informing individuals and novice investors.

Today, in addition to our core consulting and brokerage business, locale has expanded its operations to become a principal, with more than five investment and development projects currently underway across the San Francisco Bay Area and Los Angeles.

We take pride in our level of attention to detail and design, innovative strategy and analysis, and emphasis on community-focused practices.

The locale team has acquired, repositioned, and renovated over 65 single-family residential and small multifamily rental properties, selling some and managing others in a rental portfolio.

Emily began her career in real estate consulting with Robert Charles Lesser & Co., providing strategic guidance to a wide array of public and private sector clients across all of the major real estate asset types. After attending graduate school she worked for a major national developer, Greystar Development Group, in their Los Angeles office, where she performed acquisitions analysis and assisted with capitalization, entitlement, construction management, and stabilization efforts for a $800MM+ development pipeline.

Emily is licensed as a Broker by the California Bureau of Real Estate (DRE 01994997). She has been a member of the Urban Land Institute since 2011.
